Get to Know is a segment in which the main characters on The Next Step answer standardized questions about themselves. Most characters have two "Get to Know" segments, though some have three.
History[]
Get to Know focus on the main characters of the show. The segment begins by the character introducing themselves by what type of dancer or, in some cases, by their title. This is followed by a series of footage of them dancing. Afterwards, the characters alternate between a few of the questions below:
- Are you named after anyone?
- Who is your secret crush?
- What is your favorite birthday memory?
- Do you play any sports?
- If you could dance with anyone, who would it be?
- What is your favourite food?
- What CDs would you take to a deserted island?
- What kind of jam or jelly would you be?
- What is your dream career?
- What is your favorite acro move?
- What is your favorite dance song?
- Who are your best friends in the studio?
