Gail[1] is Amy's mom and a former professional dancer.

Biography Edit

Before the show Edit

Gail was a professional dancer.[2]

The Off Season Edit

After the The Next Step's dance season of loss, Gail decides she needs to be more invested in Amy's dance life so that she can become a professional.[2]

Season 5 Edit

Gail believes that Amy is on TNS East for quite some time and is enamoured by Studio 1's allure. She frequently drops by the studio unannounced to check up on Amy and the studio space.

One day, Gail stops by the studio, only to find Amy fooling around in Studio A as opposed to rehearsing in Studio 1. Irate and baffled at the troupe's buffoonery, Gail pulls Amy out of the studio.[1]

Personality Edit

Although Gail loves her daughter, she is incredibly overbearing of her upon A-Troupe's Regionals loss. Gail only expects the best from Amy and refuses to acknowledge anything less, often needlessly pressuring her in the process.

Gail's over investment in Amy's life appears to be her way of living vicariously through Amy; it seems as though Gail is reliving her former time as a dancer through her daughter.

Physical appearance Edit

Characteristics Edit

Gail has light skin and a tousled brown bob.

Attire Edit

Gail often wears blouses and casual pants, along with a pair of brown wedges.
